How ReuniteNow.org handles personal and humanitarian information.
Information submitted to ReuniteNow.org is voluntarily provided by family members, friends, rescue workers, or the individuals themselves during emergency situations. This includes names, general locations, approximate last seen times, photos, and optional contact details.
To protect victims and families:
Once a person is verified as found or safely reunited, cases are marked as Resolved. If a submitter or verified family member requests record removal, administrators can archive or delete the record upon verification.
All database communications utilize prepared statements with PDO, CSRF protections, anti-spam honeypots, rate limiting, and password hashing to maintain data integrity.
